I have been in the nursing profession for over 15 years. I graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler in 2003 with a bachelor of science in nursing degree. My nursing career began at Arlington Memorial in Arlington, TX.  After marrying my husband, Albert Gallegos Jr., we moved back to Fairfield, our home town.

I worked as a registered nurse for many years until going back to graduate school to pursue my goal of becoming a family nurse practitioner. I have worked in a variety of areas such as on the general surgical unit at Arlington Memorial, the med-surgical units at ETMC Athens and Fairfield, home health, and the ETMC rural health clinic in Fairfield.  In December 2015, I graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler with a Master’s Degree in Nursing Education. After more hard work and determination, along with the love and support of my family and friends, I completed the Family Nurse Practitioner program at The University of Texas at Tyler in May 2017.

Albert and I have two daughters, Abigail and Ava. We enjoy spending time with our family traveling, being outdoors, and participating in our children’s activities. Albert works as a police officer for the Fairfield Police Department. He is the president of the Fairfield Police Association. We are very dedicated to this Association, raising money and providing assistance to our local community.

As I mentioned, Fairfield is my hometown. My husband and I were both raised in this community and feel led to serve those in this area. I am honored to care for people that I know and grew up with, as well as, new people in this area. I have a passion for helping others and teaching them about their health. Come see me at the clinic!
